Bridal hair accessories are so important – they are one of the few things (other than that gorgeous gown!) that will be featured in all of your wedding photos. So this week, we’re covering everything you should be thinking about when selecting that perfect accessory.

Today, let’s talk about matching your accessory to your dress. We get questions from brides all the time who know they want something, but aren’t quite sure what will complement their dress without overpowering it. Below are some great pairings to consider.

Pairing #1 – statement ballgown, statement hair piece

Go bold or go home! We love this paired with our Emilia halo; a glitzy tiara with a hint of princess. It really complements the volume of the gown and gives it a modern-day Cinderella feeling!

Pairing #2 – bohemian breezy dress, simple and delicate hair piece

With a busy beaded and fringed dress like this, keep your accessories simple, like our pearl and crystal Penelope halo shown above. A little bit of sparkle, and some blush pearls to contrast the beautiful white beading!

Pairing #3 – simple romantic dress, bold statement hair piece

So romantic! This dreamy, feminine frock gets an art deco makeover with our Cecilia tiara. A super sweet, 1920s-inspired look for a bride that wants to look effortlessly glam on her wedding day.

Stay tuned tomorrow for Part 2!
